The latest Forbes rich list has identified Europe’s most wealthy celebrities, and British personalities feature high up the charts.

The remarkable JK Rowling, creator of Harry Potter, is the world’s richest author, and vies with the likes of Paul McCartney, Elton John, Lewis Hamilton and Gordon Ramsay for the top spot.

One in five of this year’s Forbes celebrity rich list hail from Europe, with the 20 highest-paid European celebs earning a combined $1.06 billion in 12 months before taxes and management fees.
