Nottingham Forest are smashing their club-record transfer fee to sign Chelsea striker Liam Delap for £45m, and it ends a lengthy pursuit by both the club and their head coach Oliver Glasner.

Last summer Delap held talks with Forest and Glasner, while he was in charge at Crystal Palace, before he opted to join his mentor and former Manchester City Under-21 coach Enzo Maresca at Stamford Bridge.
